2017 East Central Farm Show Update
The 37th East Central Farm Show was held on March 8 and 9 at the Lindsay fairgrounds. Pictures
Thanks to the 4-H lunch group for supplying us with tasty snacks and coffee.

Over 3000 came in the main door and over 2600 paid the $5 admission. 191 OSCIA memberships were sold (down 15) and of course soil and crop members got in free.

The attendance-a new record-started with a big crowd on Wednesday by 8:30 due to the warm temperatures. Thursday was a normal day. Attendance had been increasing to a record in 2014 but slipped in 2015 and dropped about 200 in 2016.

Thanks to the 193 exhibitors (most ever) - 192 in the Commonwell Exhibition Building and 1 with outside exhibit only. Nine exhibitors had equipment outside and an exhibit inside.

Thanks to those exhibitors providing items for the door prizes.
Special thanks also to the staff of the Lindsay Agricultural Society (Mary and Cory).
