  • Northumberland Soil & Crop Improvement Association Annual Meeting
    The Annual Soil & Crop Improvement Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 8th, 2016 at 10 am at the Codrington Community Centre.

    The program will be a review of a number of activities – Regional Programs, Summer Tour, BBQ, Weather Recording etc. The guest speakers will include:
    • Daryl Patterson, from A & L Labs on Interpreting Soil Tests and Utilizing Precision Sampling Methods
    • Adam Pteffer, Monsanto, will discuss “Roundup Ready Xtend Crop Soybeans”
    • Thomas Ferguson, OMAFRA, will review regional programs and other crop concerns
    • Donna Archer on “Grain Girls”, Marketing.
    As in past years, we are asking Directors to promote the meeting with the sale of memberships and dinner tickets.
    Membership fee for the year 2016-2017 is $15 and Dinner tickets are also $15 each.
